Waiting for the Beat

For anyone thinking that the cowboy rancher image of our former president wasn’t a publicity stunt to get him elected… here is the proof.

George W. and Laura W. Bush have bought an 8,000-square-foot home on a quiet (what other kinds are there?) cul-de-sac in the swanky north Dallas neighborhood of Preston Hollow, named for a leafy local hollow and someone named Preston whose moniker went on a local road a long time ago.

BTW I encourage everyone to watch the documentary “Crawford” it tells the story of how a sleepy quaint texas town was used to win is precedence.  It’s free on hulu and i’d link to it but i’m kinda hating hulu right now.
