San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom met with jailed IT administrator Terry Childs Monday, convincing him to hand over the administrative passwords to the city’s multimillion dollar wide area network.
This twisted plot is almost to crazy to make a believable movie…
Can’t wait to see it on the big screen.
Childs intends to disprove the charges against him but also “expose the utter mismanagement, negligence and corruption at DTIS, which if left unchecked, will in fact place the City of San Francisco in danger,” his motion reads.

GM partners with utilities to advance plug-in hybrids
I’ve been waiting for a headline like this…
Since the gas prices started to go up a few years ago I’ve been predicting that there was a point at which the laws of supply and demand would convince even the evil American corporations that it was time to move forward. I had hoped that the turning point was three dollars but it looks like it took four and the threat of five per gallon for capitalism to correct itself.
It is sad that GM could have done this ten years ago, possibly avoiding the middle east crisis of today. Would we be at war if we did not need oil?
Still it is better that they are moving forward now rather than waiting for the ten dollar per gallon price point.
Good job General Motors.
